Web Presences: A small step towards big goal

Lately we are being asked a lot about what our mission is and we have been explaining that happily and proudly to everyone. So we thought why not share it on our blog.

Web Presence Pvt Ltd was started by a group of young and energetic entrepreneurs who had a dream of "Digital Nepal", a futuristic Nepal where almost everything is done digitally from schooling, shopping to banking. But after the 2 major earthquake in late April and early May of 2015 it seemed like the government had more important jobs to do than digitalizing Nepal. So we decided to do some Gandhism.
As the great Mahatma Gandhi once said "be the change you want to see." We took the suggestion and tried to apply it to our dream of "Digital Nepal" but as a young and less experienced people there was only so much that we could do. So we thought, if we could not do it then why not help those peoples who can do it? And the answer was obvious, if every business in Nepal becomes digital then Nepal itself would become digital in no time at all. And hence we brainstormed to find one sector that would help everyone if it was digitalized and answer was the Marketing sector. If you have gone through our previous posts or our blog you should have already known by now that how much effective and important social media marketing is in today's time where everyone is spending almost 5 hours a day on Facebook, Instagram Twitter, YouTube, etc. Despite of it's importance many Nepali business weren't being able to use social media marketing properly because they lacked the access to social media's marketing facilities or they had no skill to execute it. And so we trained ourselves for social media marketing, learned all it's strategies and tricks and developed a good skill.
And when we were ready to deliver we took the first step towards our goal in the form of Web Presence Pvt. Ltd.     Apart for chatting and connecting with friends, people use Facebook to see posts that can add value in their life. Whether it be a news update about what is happening around the world or a small life lesson quote form Aristotle. People will only hit the like button, comment on it or share if they find it valuable otherwise they won't even bother looking at it. So be sure you put on great contents everyday for your audience that will add value to their life. Whether it be by making them happy by wishing them good morning or by teaching them something new related to your industry. People will always love it. Never advertise directly by posting a picture of your product and asking them to buy it. Because remember, it is all about adding value to their life. Instead you could post something telling your audience about the unique features your product has that can help your audience.

    What is amazing about Facebook is that it is more than social media platform. Facebook offers it's own platform to create your customized apps. It is great because you can add new features and functionality while still staying inside the Facebook environment. You can add new features like, photo contests or poll voting just by using your self created app. Now of course sky is the limit for the possibilities and yes it does requires some skills too but there are some 3rd party companies who can do it for you and save you some time. It is not necessary that you must have an app for your Facebook page but it is worth giving a try. Personally, I recommend you giving it a shot.
  4. Engage with your fans

    Aside from posting high quality contents on your Facebook be sure you are active in your comment and messaging section. People appreciate brands that take the time to respond to their comments. Lately there has been a huge communication gap between the producers and consumers, You can use Facebook to fill the gap and create a strong bond with your consumers. Reply to their comments as soon as possible, ask them from feedback and solve their problems by interacting with them through messaging. This will not only help you earn their trust but also you will achieve one of the most effective way of advertisement, "Word of mouth."
  5. Invest in Facebook Ads

    What is awesome about Facebook and couple of other social media platforms is that it offers you to create Ads for your business.
